The National Association for Catering and Events encompasses all aspects of the catering and events industry.  NACE is dedicated to promoting the professionalism of the industry and career success for members.  It is the oldest and largest catering association in the world with over 45 chapters nationwide. With $200 billion spent annually on events, NACE is leading the way and setting standards for the industry through superior education, training and networking.

Education and Certification - In addition to the training and educational opportunities available at the chapter level, there are also opportunities at the national level.  Webinars and idea swaps on a variety of topics are available monthly.  Additionally, NACE members may demonstrate their commitment to professionalism and integrity by earning the designation and of Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE).

 NACE Experience! Conference - Every summer NACE holds a conference where nationally recognized speakers and event professionals present a comprehensive educational program. Exciting social events showcase the best and brightest in menu planning, presentation, entertainment and decor. The conference provides an exceptional opportunity to learn and network at the national level.

 National Awards Program - NACE established an annual awards program to honor its members' highest achievements and outstanding contributions to the catering profession. Winners are recognized at a gala awards ceremony held during the Educational Conference, as well as through articles in Catering Solutions and industry press releases.

 The Foundation of NACE - In 1985, NACE created the Foundation of NACE, and this foundation plays several important roles in the events landscape.  In the past 4 years the Foundation has awarded over $75,000 in scholarships to students in the catering and events industry.  The Foundation also supports industry-related research and education.   By creating strategic philanthropic partnerships the Foundation has been able to give back to local communities.
